HX Income - Position Update

Our strategy here at HX Income has been around for almost five years.

Over that time, it has consistently generated income and profits for our readers with exceptional hit rates.

Most of the time, income is "harvested" when the put options that have been sold expire.

Occasionally, however, we end up owning the stock.

This isn't a bad outcome, considering how the product is set up. We only recommend great companies and would love to own the stock at a lower price.

Almost all these situations also work out positively but take a little longer than the options expiration.

Today we are booking profits on one of these ideas.

This company is an all-time great global brand, and we entered the position thinking that the reaction to the stock was overdone.

We were initially wrong, as the fundamentals of the company were still going through a difficult period.

The value of the brand and business, though, eventually showed through, and the stock recovered to a gain. We are now going to realize that profit.
